Privacy at the mailroom

This page describes the information used by Mailroom Review at mailawards.com. Updated 23 October 2026.

Reading and searching

You can read articles and use the parcel calculators without creating an account. Calculator inputs stay in your browser and are not sent to our server. Searches put the words you enter in the page address, so avoid entering private information in the search box.

The hosting and delivery systems may record technical request details, including an IP address, browser information, requested address and time. These records help operate and protect the website. They are not a record of a verified person or a sale.

Contact messages

When the correspondence form is available, it asks for a name, reply address and message. Submitted notes are saved in the site's private administration system and sent through a protected mail relay to the editorial inbox. Please do not send passwords, payment information, identification documents or another person's shipment details. We use messages to handle the inquiry and retain them only while needed for correspondence and reasonable operational records. Ask through the contact form if you want a message corrected or removed; we may need to verify that it is yours.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks public submissions and administrator sign-ins for abuse. Verification may process technical browser and network information. A form is unavailable when its verification service has not been configured or cannot validate the submission.

Referral links and advertisements

When an approved merchant link is available, the page identifies the commercial relationship near it. Clicking can take you to Amazon, a CJ advertiser, another affiliate partner or eBay. Those services have their own privacy notices and may use cookies or referral identifiers to attribute a purchase. We do not receive your payment card details. Advertiser-hosted images, when used, require your browser to request an image from that service; no advertising pixel or marketing script is installed by this site.

Our own click counter records the date, page path, placement and item selected. It keeps aggregate counts, not names, email addresses or IP addresses. Abuse controls may temporarily use IP addresses to limit requests, and rejected click reports are counted separately. Tool inputs and contact-form text are never attached to affiliate links.

Administrator access

The private editing area uses a signed session cookie. Failed sign-ins are logged with a network address and time to enforce abuse limits. Sign-in records older than seven days are removed when the application starts. Administrative access is restricted; public visitors do not need this cookie.

Questions

Use the contact page for privacy questions when correspondence is open. This notice describes the site's implementation; it does not replace the privacy policies of a carrier or merchant you choose to visit. See the cookie notes for browser storage details.
