Using the journal

Mailroom Review supplies general editorial information, tools and historical references. The material is intended to help you ask better questions and check the applicable source, not to book a shipment or promise a delivery result.

Operational decisions

A carrier's current conditions, your contract and the particular goods being shipped determine what is permitted and how a service is priced. A calculator here illustrates an equation using values you enter. It is not a binding quote, an acceptance decision or proof that a package meets a carrier's requirements. Check the carrier directly for restricted goods, dangerous goods, customs, insurance and claims rules.

Historical material

Pages about earlier awards are newly written references. A shortlist mention is different from an award result, and a historical result does not establish present performance. We identify gaps in the evidence rather than filling them with inferred names. No award applications, donations, sponsorship payments or ticket bookings are accepted here.

Editorial and commercial material

Article wording and site illustrations are created for this journal unless a separate credit says otherwise. External sources and merchant trademarks belong to their respective owners. Source links help readers inspect evidence; they do not mean those organisations endorse this website. Referral relationships are described in the disclosure.

Sensible use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, upload malicious material or submit someone else's private information. If you quote a short passage for discussion, identify the article and link to it. Ask through the contact page about broader reuse. We may correct or reorganise articles as sources change.

We aim for useful, carefully checked material, but do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free information.
